Does walking reduce weight? – My experience!
Walking are some things that we all do every day but most of the people don't check out walking as a legitimate, thanks to lose weight burn fat and maintain a healthy weight. And that I will not to think an equivalent way after all a enter the park by definition are some things that sounds very easy and typically once we picture someone doing whatever it takes to reduce we don't imagine somebody walking instead we usually picture someone running as hard as they will on the treadmill covered in sweat but the reality is that walking consistently throughout the week can make an enormous difference in how you look and the way you are feeling. This is often especially true if you're currently not exercising and you cannot seem to seek out the motivation to start out understanding since most of the people are under valuing the benefits that walking can make their body.
Here are five reasons why walking is really good for weight loss now if you're looking to lose a few inches of body fat. I am going to talk about why walking is one of the most effective things you can do to help you with your weight loss goal.

Perk Number 1-
It's free it's easy to access and it's pretty much suitable for any abilities now for most of us getting outside is easy it's just outside your front door so you can get out there and get your walking done. You don't need any fancy equipment like you do with other sports what I would recommend however is get a decent pair of walking shoes but essentially you don't need any fancy equipment just to go for walks just make sure that you dress for the elements be it hot be it cold.
Perk Number 2-
It burns calories, now on average an adult will burn about 100 calories in a mile of walking but how does that compare to running well on average an adult will burn about 100 calories per mile running so you burn the same amount of calories yes it's going to take longer because you're only walking but per mile you're getting the same bang for your buck the difference with getting your calorie burn from walking as opposed to running is when you're running you're a slightly higher stress environment so a lot of your energy is going to come from stored sugars in your muscles whereas when you're walking in a relaxed fashion or even through a brisk walk most of that calorie burn is going to come from stored body fat yes there'll still be some from stored sugars but the ratio is swinging more towards your body fat.
Perk Number 3-
It will preserve your lean muscle mass, if you go on a calorie restriction program which doesn't encourage exercise so you're reducing your calorie intake in the hope to get that calorie deficit there for the weight loss. Yes you may well get some weight loss however some of that weight loss may come in the form of muscle tissue loss because you're not using it so the body will look to use it as a source of fuel. However if you're including regular exercise walking in your exercise routine then the body's going to preserve that muscle mass because it needs it for the walking so now the predominance of where you're going to get your energy from is going to come from your fat and so because you're preserving your muscle mass and using it it's going to help to tone it up make it become a leaner muscle tissue and along with the toning up you're going to start improving your posture. The simple reason being is you're not sat in a chair all day you're up on two feet outside walking it's quite hard to walk with bad posture unlike running. If you get too tired with running you can see people quite often stooped forward things like that when they're starting to get tired but if you're just out for an easy walk you're much more likely to be upright and you know generally toning up your overall posture muscles need calories for fuel the more muscle tissue you have the more calorie burn you're going to get. Similarly the opposite is true whereas we have less muscle tissue the less calorie burn so by walking regularly you're preserving your muscle mass therefore you're preserving your calorie needs.
Perk Number 4-
Walking reduce stress. We're all under certain levels of stress physical stress and mental stress, regular walking can help to reduce both of those. Now the physical stress first, when you experience a physical stress you will release a hormone called cortisol that's known as the stress hormone the fight-or-flight hormone it has the effect of taking stored energy in the body and dumping it into your blood increasing your blood sugar to allow you to run away from whatever the danger is that's the point of that primeval stress response the problem is when we increase our blood sugar we also increase our insulin and insulin is a fat storing hormone it also is a fat burn blocking hormone the more insulin you've got in your bloodstream you're not going to be able to burn fat so if we can better control our blood sugars we can better control that insulin we can better control our fat burn and walking just happens to be a really good way of keeping cortisol levels low and in doing so you're gonna have a much better control over your blood sugar and therefore much better control over your weight.
Perk Number 5-
It improves your mood, your mental health your sense of well-being. We've just mentioned how it improves your physical stress levels but it will also help improve your mental stress levels when you exercise the body releases some feel good hormones and endorphins such as serotonin these make you feel good inside there are a lot of ongoing studies at the moment look at the connection between exercise and mental health and there's a lot of reports coming out that saying that when you have depression or lower mood you essentially have low levels of serotonin it's because of this that the mood suffers well going for walks has been proved to actually raise those levels of serotonin and other such hormones like dopamine and endorphins and the whole thing just helps to lift everything up but if you enjoy doing what you're doing then you're far more likely to keep doing it on a long-term basis and long-term habits give you long-term success.
So the conclusion is it's easy it's just can be done in Garden, Outside your front door it burns calories it improves your Health it improves your stress levels it improves your mind and Weight Loss
